Crew Responds to Commercial Vehicle Accident

On July 15th, 2012 at 9:45 AM, E526 was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving a commercial vehicle on Interstate 40 near mile post 83. Unit arrived on scene and found a semi on its side into the hillside. Crew assissted with two patients, which were both transported to an area hospital, one trauma and one with minor injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Department of Public Safety.
